Mindful Living : Reflection on the gifts of 2020

Appreciating the good...

At this time I would like to invite you to reflect on the beautiful things that came up in your life due to the special circumstances of covid.

It is easy to feel that we have been robed from our freedom , our time, our friends, our vacations, our way of life.

Our mind are velcro for the negative because we are wired to see that way to protect ourselves.

However when we stick with that attitude we generate sadness , bad mood , many bad coping habits and depression ...

For some of us that have lost work, housing, friends...

I am not asking you to take this lightly but instead to not let that tint the all experience.

Next to darkness there is always light...

So you may ask how do I stop seeing the worst side of this story ?

Invite the good created by this conditions, take your time to journal

1- Start appreciating the good by writing from the top of your heads great things that happened this year to you, others, the planet...

2- Remember how resourceful you have been , bouncing back, finding new ways for work, money, shelter...

3- Make a note of who you connected with on a deeper level...

4- What have you witnessed other do that opened and melted your heart ?

5- How did you grow to be a better person, how did you transform ?

6- write down any blessings in disguise ...

Let your heart open to what this year allowed you to receive...

Let yourself appreciate , rejoice

Breathe, breathe, breathe....

Recalling the unexpected gifts that you have received ...

Smile, Smile, Smile...

Appreciate the abundance...

Let's not forget that life nature is to change and transform nothing ever stay the same for long.
